Are random acts of kindness still considered kind when the intention behind the act is to get you into bed?

Red Glasses here communicating to you from Athens, GA on my friends extremely plushy green couch. (In fact, this couch is so mother fucking squishy that if anyone over the age of 60 sat in it, there would NEVER be able to get up).

Tonight Heather and I went to meet this dude named Angel at a bowling alley. It was hilarious. Me, Heather, her boyfriend, William, and three Mexicans dudes throwing heavy balls down a wooden alley. I never went bowling growing up, so I suck but it was still entertaining. This organized sport seems a little odd to me anyways. I mean, who comes up with these ideas?

"Heya Bob, let's build a big room where people who aren't good at other sports can have a chance at being a champion at something--AKA, knock down all of these pins but you only get two tries. And when we build this room, let's not put the chairs too close to each other, because although these people are all here to do the same thing; bowl, god forbid they communicate with each other!"

That's my summary. It sounded really Jewish in my head....

After the game, we all awkwardly stood around in the parking lot saying goodbye to each other. The fatter of the three dudes handed me this weird key chain; a small yellow ball with a smiley face on it attached to a string--kinda like this :-D (lol) and said "Have this because it reminds me of the smile you had when I first saw you." (which doesn't make sense, wouldn't he want to keep it as a reminder of my AWESOME smile?) This was after he asked when the next time I'd be visiting Georgia was and proclaimed that he would never see me again. awkward.

Athens is aight. The downtown is a bunch of bars and vintage shops (which is awesome), but I haven't really gotten to see it because Heather doesn't like to go into town and convincing her to do so probably isn't an option. We don't have the same lifestyle or interests. Athens through her eyes is mostly the built up area around it-- shopping plazas, chain places--you know. My Athens would be spent in the downtown for as long as possible, and I would try to talk to everyone. I might roll through tomorrow before I leave so I can really get an idea of what its like.

Shifting gears---When I get back to Asheville tomorrow, I need a place to sleep. I have an interview at the JCC the next day at 10am, so I need to be able to get into town early and be well rested. I guess my car is an option or outside somewhere in a field....

Oh lordy....
