A review on Zennioptical.com and my new glasses.

Two weeks ago I ordered glasses from Zennioptical.com. This site, right out of California, sells affordable (perhaps even cheap) glasses. I ordered two pairs for $24 and that was including shipping. That sounds unreal, right? Well, it was. For one; although the glasses only took a day or to two make, they didn't get to me for over two weeks. Two; due to my awful vision and their low cost of production, I now look like Steve Urkle. (I will admit, this is partly my fault due to poor frame choice).

I recommend, that if your vision is worse than 4.75 and/or if you have astigmatism, to buy glasses that you can try on. I also suggest that you take your vision into account when choosing a frame. What you want: to highlight your face and detract from your awful eye sight. For ex: If you eyes are awful, don't buy a big frame. Smaller frames mean there is less distortion to look through.

With zennioptical.com, I got what I paid for. Thick lenses that protruded out of the frame. I think I could have paid extra to get thin lenses but $7 looked so good, distracting me with disallusion. Because of my own bargain-induced idealism, I suffered being made fun of for a few days--before returning to my old frames.

(I literally watched the pupils of eyes dilate with pity for me and my poor genetics. I wish this upon no one. Especially no one who has already endured enough torture since first grade.)

The following pics are evidence of my poor choice in new glasses.

Note that the frames are lovely WITHOUT lenses.

Second order of business. (I feel like I should be standing in front of a large conference table with a clipboard in my hand.)

Quite recently, I enjoyed making fun of people; anything for a laugh. I poked fun at their hair, their beliefs, their clothes, their weight (their being whoever). This seemed to be an easy way to draw in an instant audience to entertain. Not only is this kind of humor mean, it's also unintelligent. Any person can point out what's wrong or funny about someone else. Any person can use their eyes to point out the obvious (even the half-blind like me!) It takes a witty person to uses other sources for humor such as politics, societal norms, and even slap stick and puns!

I'm done making fun of people. I wouldn't want someone to do that to me.

I was going to investigate the thin lenses, and just how thin they were, etc. before I even considered getting them. Mom's prescription isn't very high. To be sure I have seen (in person) many successful examples of zenni optical. My glasses normally would take about a week to 10 days to arrive (they can't ever be made in-store) and look like yours do even with high-index lenses. ...which would be cause for concern even more so with Zenni, since they would be thicker. Eve so... I am shutting up now.
